The Landlady welcomes editorial correspondence, including corrections, clarifications, and suggestions for subjects the magazine should examine. The magazine is independent and does not run a commercial listings service, so it cannot help with property enquiries, tenancy disputes, or bookings.

When requesting a correction, identify the article precisely. Give the rubrique code and number shown at the top of the piece, for example FM 04 for a Fiction and Media article or WP 11 for Women and Property, along with the article title and the URL. Then quote the exact sentence or passage you are asking the magazine to change.

State clearly what you believe is inaccurate and why. Provide evidence that an editor can check, such as a citation to a published book or article, a date, a page reference, or a link to a primary source. Explain the nature of the error in your own words, and say whether you are requesting a correction, a clarification, or a right of reply.

The Landlady cannot promise a response to every message, but every correction request that identifies an article and supplies evidence will be read by an editor. Where a correction is made, the magazine will note the change in the article. General comments about the magazine's coverage are also welcome, though they may not receive an individual reply.
